Syntax Error' lotus inotes; dwa; Error encountered retrieving data: Syntax Error; upgrade; domino; 8.5.1 fp1; fix pack; 8.5.2; login Technote (troubleshooting) Problem After upgrading to Domino 8.5.1 FP2, you notice that every time you log into iNotes, you receive the following error: "Error encountered retrieving data: Syntax Error". Testing revealed that the issue occurs: - With an English install of 32bit Domino 8.5.1 (with no Fix pack or language pack installed) on 32bit AIX. - In both full and lite mode. - With a newly created mail85 mail file. Symptom "Error encountered retrieving data" error appears after logging into iNotes.
