I've tried reinstalling Photoshop and InDesign, and reinstalling the scanner driver. I am running Tiger (OS 10 4.2.8). I had a tech support person run several diagnostic programs on my system, and re-build my directory, but he could not find any problem. The scanner works fine and the images look great. I can place Photoshop images in Quark XPress 7.0 with no problem. If anyone has any thoughts, I'd be grateful! I made several JPGs into TIFs and as soon as I save them, they corrupt. Error message says it is not a valid TIF file and InDesign says it is missing a translator to use the file. I've tried saving with and without layers, compressed and uncompressed to no avail. Will have to try to save to local desktop until a fix is available.HELP. Am at my wits end. I wish I had never upgraded to Leopard -- nothing but CS3 problems and huge amount of tech bills.
