Error Encountered Retrieving Data Unexpected Token Illegal

Error description Customer who is moving to use iNotes as the only mail client has encountered several cases of emails which cannot be opened in iNotes, but will open correctly in Notes. This issue can be reproducted by opening the messages in iNotes on Domino 9 as well as in Domino 853 error in iNotes depends on the browser, e.g. in Firefox the message is "Error encountered retrieving data: unterminated string literal" IE : "Error encountered retrieving data: unterminated string constant" Chrome: "Error encountered retrieving data: Unexpected Token ILLEGAL" These emails are from internal users in the organization. Attached EmailExample.nsf database has a problematic email sent that exhibits this issue. Two other emails included in the database are the mail originally sent, the copy of the message received by the sender. $Mailer on the message that will not open in iNotes shows ""Lotus Notes Release 8.5.3 September 15, 2011" Messages all appear to be in CD format, and are being converted on the fly to MIME by iNotes. Local fix No workaround for the iNotes interface. Have to open the message in Notes client. Problem summary This APAR is closed as FIN. We have deferred the fix to a future release. (not securily) or you can use Firefox or you can tell your Clients not to collect her/his mails in inbox (cuz above somecounts of mail the explorer cant listed) or you can change your mail temlplate from Domin
