Within 1 http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/topic/268050-autorecovermof-errors-after-deleting-repository/ minute of rebooting there were 4 off Application Event logg errors :- Failed to load MOF C:\*\*\*.MOF while recovering repository file Also BEFORE this problem Autorecover\*.MOF held only 14 off *.MOF files, but AFTER there were another 40 extra *.MOF files plus 10 of the old 14 were rebuilt and halved in size. Also there was a new file - C:\WINDOWS\system32\wbem\Logs\MofComp.log What is that all about ? Do 50+ off *.MOF files represent 50+ items that have failed to autorecover ? or are they junk left over after a successful autorecovery ? Can they now be safely deleted ? Does MofComp.log hold any information that assists in identifying / correcting problems ? Windows still seems to work. Is it now actually a bit more broken ? Is there anything I should do to make it better ? The clean-up script deleted old Comodo Security files that uninstal had omitted. Some files/folders were not accessible until I took ownership and deleted them. I ran the script a dozen times in rapid succession whilst identifying what else I had to own. I did not realise at the time that the script not only deleted Comodo residue

User Profile cannot be loaded." I restarted the computer and still get the same result. I created another account and got the same result. yoshismama4, Aug 20, 2014 #31 yoshismama4 Thread Starter Joined: Oct 21, 2006 Messages: 84 Also, when I rebooted, the Audio Service is not running and the programs that usually show up in the bottom right corner (such as SAS and MBAM) are not showing, even after I start the programs manually. The only logo down there is the BitDefender logo, but when I place the cursor on that it says , "BitDefender services are loading now, please wait" but it remains that way. yoshismama4, Aug 20, 2014 #32 Mark1956 Malware Specialist Joined: May 7, 2011 Messages: 14,142 Ok, what I would suggest now is to run a Repair Install. This will re-install Windows without removing any of your data or software, but I would recommend you make backups of all your important data before proceeding, just in case something goes wrong and a clean install is the only way out. Please go here: Windows 7 ISO downloads and download the version of Windows 7 that matches what you have on your PC. If you have downloaded the ISO on a Windows 7 PC right click the ISO file, select Open With, then select Windows Disc Image Burning Tool then follow the prompts. For PC's using other versions of Windows you must burn the ISO image to a DVD using an ISO image burner, copying the ISO to a DVD will not work, if you do not have an ISO burner download this free software and follow the instructions below to burn the disc.ImgBurn When you install ImgBurn make sure you uncheck any boxes offering bundled software. Install the program and start the application. Select the top left hand option to burn image file to disk and then on the next window click on the small yellow folder icon and browse to the ISO file you wish to burn. Then click on the two grey discs with the arrow in between (bottom left) and leave it to complete the operation. Once done, please go here Windows 7 Repair Install and follow the instructions from 5. When complete, test the system to see if the original problems have bee
