Resolving the problem This can be experienced if the key entered in the Certified Public Key field in the Administration section of the Server document does not match the key held in the Server ID file being used by the Notes or Domino Server. This scenario can happen, for example, if the server had been recertified with the relevant "error updating local id file cannot write or create file" (or even possibly different) Certifier ID. The solution is to copy the key from the Server ID file into this field of the Server document. This can be accomplished as follows: From the administrative client of the server: 1. Select File, Tools, UserID (assuming the client is using the same ID). 2. Select More Options. 3. Click Copy Public Key. 4. Open the Server document, delete the existing key from the Certified Public Key field and then paste the newly copied key into the field. 5. Save the document and restart the server. The reasons of this error message MAYBE because as the following: i) This Server1/BOBA is the first server, ii) It has been error updating local running very well, iii) But i executed the "registration process" to this server ("just curious want to see the outcomes") 6. Allerdings ergab ein Vergleich, dass die Keys übereinstimmen.Auch verschiedene User-IDs die uns aufgefallen waren, wurden überprüft, mit dem gleichen Ergebnis.Die Fehlermeldung lautet:Error updating local ID file: The public keys specified in the Name Change Request do not match those specified in the new certificateHerzlichen Dank und viele GrüßeOlaf Banni: Hallo Olaf,such mal nach error updating.
