database action failed. Error: An error occurred while trying to select a database copy for possible activation. Error: The database '2010_DB2' was not mounted because errors occurred either while validating database copies for possible activation, or while attempting to activate another copy. Detailed error(s): cunj-exchange2: Server 'EXCHANGE2.domain.local' has database copy auto activation policy configuration of 'Blocked'. I intentionally have activation content index state crawling of the databases on my second exchange server blocked because the connectivity to it is not reliable enough yet to do so but I still want to keep my databases replicated. I am unsure why the system is attempting to do this since all of the databases are mounted correctly on the primary server. I would very much appreciate any assistance on this one, thanks! I would however like to get the error cleared up. Dan Ok, in that case, you can run that command in that article or simply stop the Exchange index service on the server, delete the actual catalog directory ( Its in the same dir as the edb database) and then restart the Index server to recrawl and recreate the index. How do we get it back to a healthy state? All we need is to delete the catalog folder & it’s subfolders after stopping the exchange 2010 search service. In Exchange 2013:Stop the Microsoft Exchange Search and Microsoft Exchange Search Host Controller service. Run Stop-Service MSExchangeFastSearch and Stop-Service HostControllerService if you are into Shell.Browse to where the database files are located on the disk. But, the 2013 scripts folder doesn't have this handy script for some reason! unterstützen Meine Mediadaten Exchange Server 2010 DAG mit kaputtem Index 20. Juni 201311. Schauen Sie einfach mal, ob das wirklich so ist: Get-MailboxDatabaseCopyStatus –Server SERVERNAME | fl Name,*Index* Sie erhalten möglicherweise so eine Ausgabe: ContentIndexState : failed ContentIndexErrorMessage : Catalog needs a reset for database {GUID} Was müssen Sie machen?
