I couldn't mount the mail store due to dirty shut down and tried to repair using eseutil /r but got nowhere so ended up repairing using eseutil /p. Eseutil /mh and exchange 2010 database Eseutil /g aren't reporting any issues. I tried mounting several times, but kept on hitting the error MapiExceptionCallFailed: Unable to mount database. (hr=0x80004005, ec=1276). I have created a recovery database and copied the repaired edb file and log files across, but still cannot mount it giving the error code Unable to mount database. (hr=0x80004005, ec=-1601). I'm going round the houses a bit with this and cannot find any more info on the ec 1601, so any pointers would be appreciated.
