Cause as per the error, its look like u tried to install it before. Check the Registry for the exchange keys and let us know if you see any registry key. Setup.com /ps Setup.com /pl Setup.com /preparead Setup.com /pd I forgot to tell you that Exchange 2007 SP1 is not supported on 2008 R2. Install Exchange 2007 SP3. I would suggest to install Exchange 2010 SP1 rather then going for Exchange 2007. < Message edited by gulab -- 29.Jun.2011 11:25:58 AM > _____________________________Gulab Prasad, Technology Consultant Exchange Ranger Check out CodeTwos tools for

You'll need the 32-bit version of Exchange to install on a 32-bit XP. 0 LVL 9 Overall: Level 9 Exchange 7 Message Expert Comment by:DanArseneau2010-01-20 ...or just a corrupt cd/iso. 0 Message Author Comment by:syoungblood2010-01-20 I'm installing the 32 bit version. What i did different that normal is, I installed the Microsoft Windows installer 4.5 from exchange sp2. 2007 and sp1 do not have this as a prereq. I have installed all prereqs - When i run setup from the sp2 folder, i get the following error: cannot copy file: cannot read from the source file or disk. When i run setup from the 2007 folder (no support pack), I get the following error: Exchange server setup encoundered an error. Both folders are 32 bit. I may have messed up by installing the ms windows installer 4.5 prereq. Not sure - 0 LVL 9 Overall: Level 9 Exchange 7 Message Expert Comment by:DanArseneau2010-01-20 I don't think the installer killed it. Can you install on another PC to validate your install media? 0 Me
