Any ideas? Locate the User by last name, under Mailbox rights in AD; check the Change permission - UNCHECK Read & Full; Click Apply; then UNCHECK Change and RECHECK Read & Full; Click Apply. This "refreshes" the Users personal object rights. If that doesn't work, try this. Under the Users mailbox rights; see if the SELF object is listed; if not ADD the SELF account and CHECK Read & Full; Click Apply. Let me know how that turns out - Tuesday, March 06, 2007 8:32 PM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote Encountered this problem as well... Your suggestion for refreshing the personal object rights did the trick. Thank you. TT Friday, March 09, 2007 6:57 PM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote This worked. Thank you very much. Exchange 2010 Owa Not Working
natch Posts: 8 Joined: 10.Jul.2007 Status: offline OK before I begin let me just point out that I have followed Tom's guide (http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/Using-2006-ISA-Firewall-RC-Publish-OWA-Sites-Part1.html) three times now in an attempt to get OWA published. I have also tried https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/33964ad3-8584-444b-9ddc-b3c2972ec7d0/exchange-2003-owa-http-500-internal-server-error?forum=exchangesvrclientslegacy disabling forms based authentication on the exchange http virtual server. I have scoured this forum but haven't found a solution that has worked yet. Background: I am running ISA 2006 Std on Windows Server 2003 Std SP2. The exchange server is 2003 enterprise, on windows 2003 enterprise SP1. The certificate was generated byour internalenterprise CA. The exchange server was previously setup on another site and has been relocated to our new office, no network details changed in this http://forums.isaserver.org/OWA_2003_-_HTTP_500_Internal_Server_Error/m_2002049006/tm.htm transition. OWA was working at the previous office (simple SPI firewall used). Server running ISA was added to the domain after ISA was installed. Whenever I browse webmail.xxx.co.uk the only page I am presented with is the dreaded http 500 internal server error. Could anyone point me in the right direction or provide a starting point for monitoring? What is the subject name on the Exchange Server certificate? What is the name on the TO tab of the Web Publishing Rule? I am not quite sure what I did in the end, but it seems to be working now. I was originally trying to access OWA via http://webmail.xxx.co.uk (as I had been internally) and then realised that there was no redirection to https setup on the firewall rule/web listener, and that I also needed to add /exchange on the
seen this issue a couple of times after applying Exchange 2010 SP1 on Client Access servers. I’m presented with the OWA FBA page and enter my credentials http://www.msexchange.org/blogs/walther/news/exchange-2010-sp1-experiecing-an-owa-http-500-error-554.html and then boom it throws an “HTTP 500” error instead of opening the mailbox. http://www.techexams.net/forums/exchange-server-office-communications-server-exams/42105-exchange-2003-owa-error-500-internal.html You tried to issue an “IISReset /NoForce” and even rebooted the server and still see the symptom. So the issues is typically caused by the “Microsoft Exchange Forms-Based Authentication” service being in a stopped state. Finding this place has probably been the one most consistant resource. Thank you all for the input and posts that have helped me prepare for my exams! I was also hoping that maybe some Exchange Guru can help me figure out a problem I am having with an Exchange environment (front end/back end configuration). I have inherted this environment, and I must say I am not the most suave admin when it comes to Exchange. All that I know has basically been self taught through tutorials and playing around with Exchange, so there is no formal training. So here is the deal... Everytime that a user visits the publicly facing OWA login page on the front end server, they enter their authentication credentials but are given a "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error....This website cannot be displayed" error page. OWA was working fine just last week. All other mail services are working just fine. I also get the following error message in the Event Viewer: --------------- Event ID: 9175 - MSExchangeSA The MAPI call 'OpenMsgStore' failed with the following error: The Microsoft Exchange Server computer is not available. Either there are network problems or the Microsoft Exchange Server computer is down for maintenance. The MAPI provider failed.
