Join Now In a pinch I had to move our exchange database to another system, but now that I've put it back in place it will not mount. I have tried to run eseutil repair and I get this message Operation terminated with error -1032 (JET_errFileAccessDenied,Cannot access file, the file is locked or in use) I have dismounted the exchange store, moved the file to another volume to be sure nothing was accessing the file but I still get the same message. Do you test your backups nightly? In my backup solution, I backup exchange 24xday and test the mailstore mount daily to ensure that my backups are good, this is all done automatically. 0 Jalapeno OP RWPeter Jun 30, 2011 at 3:12 UTC Yes I have been through that already. Our exchange server has been offline for a long time now we have another mail server that we have been using but I'd like to get our exchange back online. It seems everything is broken...
