[MSFT]May 10, 20133 0 0 0 Recently I was playing for a VSS issue at my Exchange Server 2010 access to source database failed with jet error 1811 environment – when I run the ESEUtil (with its parameter

error -1032. The error code –1032 points to JET_ERRFileAccessDenied, which tells us that I cannot access the file, as the file is locked or in use. This is the first time I noticed the issue at my end. When I investigated further I realized the issue - I have mounted the database and ran the jet_errfileaccessdenied exchange 2010 ESEUtil. The database needs to be offline to read the header information. So I dismounted the database and ran the ESEUtil worked like a charm – bingo!! Happy debugging!! Like "c:\program files\"?ThanksCam (in reply to cammy) Post #: 3 RE: eseutil error 1811 - 21.Jun.2004 2:05:00 AM Exchange_Admin Posts: 376 Joined: 23.Feb.2003 From: Texas Status: offline Oh me. People with only windows experience. You are correct that it will not like the space. So what do you do to correct that? Enclose the full path in double quotes.Example:eseutil /d "c:\program files\exchsrvr\mdbdata\priv1.edb"The above is all on one line.Hope this helps.
