Solved Error 0x80040107 with cached mode on, emails not downloading Posted on 2008-09-28 Exchange Outlook 1 Verified Solution 4 Comments 2,716 Views Last Modified: 2010-08-05 We migrated about mapi error 100 mailboxes from our Exchange 2003 server to a new company's Exchange 2007 server. The migration returned a success response. Some computers are working ok, most aren't. When we have cached mode on, the folder list appears in Outlook 2003, but no emails. In the bottom right corner, it says this folder has not been updated. When hitting send/receive, error 0x80040107 is returned. If I turn cached mode off, the exchange error 0x80040107 emails will appear, but the same error is returned when hitting send/receive. With cached mode off, I am able to send and receive emails successfully. We must have cached mode on for our laptop users - familiar problem to all! On the problem computers, I have tried deleting and recreating the profile and so on, but to no avail.
