A while ago, we had a post on how to troubleshoot error 0x8004010f https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/28187128/Error-0x8004010F-Object-could-not-be-found.html when downloading an OAB in Outlook. Dave Goldman has been working on updating this guidance with latest tips and tricks and has, microsoft exchange after a little encouragement, just published it on his blog today. Solved Error 0x8004010F Object could not be found Posted on 2013-07-17 Outlook Exchange 4 Verified Solutions 15 Comments 4,015 Views Last Modified: 2013-07-25 When I try to synchronize the offline address list in Outlook 2010 with cache mode enabled , I receive the following error message: Task reported error (0x8004010F): ‘The operation failed. An object cannot be found.’ I tried these steps but nothing works. - Rebuild my offline files - Re-create a new profile in Outlook I also do the step from Microsoft Start Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options. On the Connections tab, click LAN settings. Select the Bypass proxy server for local addresses check box, and then click Advanced. Type the FQDN of the Exchange 2007 CAS server, and then click OK. Restart Outlook. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/939765 Please give me some hints how to troubleshoot it.
