Check for any errors in application or system log related to Internet Explorer. Update the OS and IE with latest available patches 2. Check if antivirus can be disabled on desktop. 3. If any proxy settings are used in IE, disable the proxy. 4. Disable the firewall on the desktop Thanks.Rowen TechNet Community Support

One of my users has OWA accounts with two other entities.Only my server causes issue. (error 12031). My personal OWAworksfine. I tested on varous computers - no issues. If I test the affected user's OWA on my machines, I can replicate the exact issue that the user has. This leads me to believe that the issue is is with the server and specific to the user's account. The user has a windows7.5 phone and the phone exhibits no problems synching. I also have the same phone and no problems with my owa or phone synch. It was filtering https traffic outbound and causing the perfomance issues with OWA. Https filtering was disabled and all exchange server IP's whitelisted so that the content filter ignores traffic to and from the exchange server. At this point no issues have been reported. Whenever they try to upload attachments or send out e-mails through OWA they receive the error "Microsoft Exchange issued an unexpected response (12031). Hopefully, the link in the first response will offer some guidance. 0 Poblano OP GeorgeB Jul 1, 2008 at 6:04 UTC I don't know whether this will help and I have already reported it to the spiceworks team, but I get excatly the same message as you when I put my Exchange settings in and try to save them. The only way I have got it to work is by removing my proxy settings in Spiceworks, after I have done this Spiceworks accepts my Exchange settings and everything works fine. Wierd huh? 0 Chipotle OP RRasco Jul 1, 2008 at 9:58 UTC Indeed. I for one could not get Spiceworks to accept my proxy setting either. 0 OP Best Answer April (Spiceworks) Jul 1, 2008 at 10:24 UTC RRasco, does it work if you type in the URL like this: https://servername.domain.com/exchange ? ( https://servername.domain.com/owa won't work because the /owa directory does not support the DAV extensions our software requires.) See http://community.spiceworks.com/help/Configuring_The_IT_Help_Desk?query=help+desk+exchange for more information.
