Please identify the following info for better troubleshooting: 1. OLEX client's version, client pc's OS version 2. Was OL client also installed on client pc? 3. Which troubleshooting steps did you attempt? so I can avoid to give those solutions which you'd already tried Basic troubleshooting: 1. try to set up OL for testing 2. Also focus to diagnose your OAB as it's the most common cause. Notes: the link is the help guide about OAB issue on ex2k7 environment. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb331952(EXCHG.80).aspx

The Microsoft website says its related to the Offline Address List. It only happens with Outlook XP. Outlook 2000 doesn't have a problem. Updating to the latest service packs didn't help either. There is a Windows 2003 Server Standard domain controller elsewhere. Exchange seems to work well except for the error I mentioned. Will proceeding with your suggestion reset everything (permissions, user accounts, public folders, etc.) because a lot of things are already in place. In other words, what will it really do? Additionally, the Microsoft knowledgebase only has an article for Exchange 2000, not Exchange 2003. Would this make a difference?
