I am able to get the internet on both but not file sharing? On one, it shows up under network places but the other just hangs and beeps when I try to open it. So, after hours searching the web, I found that the problem was most likely http://forums.practicallynetworked.com/showthread.php?1324-Unable-to-start-Computer-Browser-Error-1068 (I think) that the computer that hangs will not allow me to use the start tab under computer browser in management. I get "Could not start the Computer Browser service on Local Computer. Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start". If anyone can held out I would GREATLY appreciate their help. Thanks! Are these running/started? You don't normally have to bother with these things so its strange. Greenstead Only Human. The computer that won't network and errors out will not start Computer Browser. It was set on manual setting (don't know why, it should be on automatic by default) so I changed it back to automatic, hit start tap, and that is when I receive the error message. Not sure I understand what "Ser

Alright, I am stumped. Since the service does not allude to any dependences, I can only assume that there is a corrupt DLL at the source of this problem. But where to find a list of those DLLs. Any clues as to what to do?
