All the other services are running except for OracleDbConsoleorcl. I have tried to start the service from both from the command line and from the manage oracle_unqname not defined computer guy. Below is the error I get. I have also tried changing who starts the service from system to administrator but that did not work. Windows could not start OracleDbConsoleorcl on Local Computer. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer the service specific error code 2 I have tried editing the hosts file and adding the FQDN and the ip address as well as the localhost and loop back ip address. I have also tried copying the folders in the following two directories. OC4J_DBConsole_localhost_orcl OC4J_DBConsole_HOSTNAME_orcl We are an educational institution and the administration cannot or will not pay for oracle support, so I am paying for this out of my pocket. The professor that took care of oracle before me retired and I missed a staff meeting where I was elected to maintain the server. We have several adjuncts that use it through out the semester.
