It’s possible that a malfunctioning gadget (application box) on your iGoogle page is causing the error. Should I Be Worried? This error doesn’t seem to pose a security risk, but it should be dealt with in order to avoid other problems with Internet Explorer. What Do I Need to Do? It seems that in most cases, this error can be resolved by removing the malfunctioning gadget from your iGoogle page: • In the top-right corner of the gadget you’d like to delete, click the down arrow. • Select Delete this gadget. If you continue to experience problems, or you can’t determine which gadget is causing the issue, you can find more troubleshooting steps at the iGoogle help center. Other sites like CNN may give http://komputer.dk/forum/hjaelp-til-windows-og-programmer/windows/vista-meddelelse this error as well as it stems from the usage of Javascript on the site. Enough people are apparently affected by this that it has become the #1 Google Search Trend very quickly. This is a problem stack overflow with the website being visited and not with your computer. So far most indicators point to iGoogle being the culprit for why this has become so popular but I have been unable to reproduce the error on Firefox, Chrome, or IE8. IE6 or IE7 may be to blame. The suggestion solution is then to update your browser to the latest version or consider switching to another browser for the time being like Mozilla Firefox or stack overflow at Google Chrome. Given iGoogle's Gadget-based approach, the cause of the problem is likely a bug in a popular gadget. Since the browser locks up before a gadget can be deleted when visiting the iGoogle page, you can try removing the problematic Gadget directly through the iGoogle Settings page: http://www.google.com/ig/settings There are also iGoogle Troubleshooting steps from Google to follow if the problem is still occurring. Another solution is to temporarily disable Javascript in your browser. If anybody is experiencing this issue, can you please confirm what operating system you're running, what browser you're using, and what site you're visiting when these problems occur? Update: Thanks to commenter, Sam. I can confirm that TVGuide.com is the source of the Stack Overflow error message which is still occurring. If you remove this gadget, the error will also go away.
