Disable Windows firewall -> done2. Enable port 80 in 3-party firewall -> never had problems before i had the new router. i don't think firewall should be the problem.3. Enable portforward in router -> in wamp i can do: the remote host or network may be down please try the request again APACHE > Test Port 80.It says: your port is actually used by: server: Apache.. etc.this means that port 80 is enabled and i don't have to setup port forward, right?i still get the '(111) connecton refused' error.btw: i've got a "linksys wireless - g: broadband router"Post Edited (12-09-06 21:51)Options:Reply•QuoteRe: (111) connection refused Posted by: yfastud (---.cable.mindspring.com)Date: December 09, 2006 11:54PMQuote2. Description Craig Bogovich 2010-03-18 17:50:22 UTC I apologize if I am using this forum inappropriately. We are new to Apache and seeing the following error from time to https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=48938 time in our application: Bad Gateway The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server. The error seems to correspond to the following messages found in the apache error logs: [error] (111)Connection refused: proxy: HTTP. Where can I find more information on error# 111? Comment 1 Eric Covener 2010-03-18 17:53:16 UTC It comes from your os, the manual for the connect subroutine is probably the place to go. [Sun Nov 22 15:23:59.570652 2015] [core:warn] [pid 4542] (111)Connection refused: AH00056: connect to listener on [::]:80 pid 4542 is the the system returned parent process for apache. I'm curious what is causing these warnings, whether they are indicative of a problem, and what I can do to prevent them from filling up the apache error log. I have already done some testing and research, and I have some ideas about what might be going on. The most useful thing so far has been enabling trace8 logging for apache, which revealed that each "(111)Connection refused" warning was followed by the closing of an apache child process. When there are a group of the warning, the first one or two will be followed immediately by the closure of an apache child process, and then subsequent warning will have a delay of as long as 12 seconds before a child process is closed. And then within a minute of the last process closing, new ones will have open to fill the vacated slots. Here is a log excerpt of one round of the entire process: [Sun Nov 22 15:23:59.570652 2015] [core:warn] [pid 4542] (111)Connection refused: AH00056: connect to listener on [::]:80 [Sun Nov 22 15:24:01.570677 2015] [core:warn] [pid 4542] (111)Connection refused: AH00056: connect to listener on [::]:80 [Sun Nov 22 15:24:01.570721 2015] [core:trace4] [pid 4542] mpm_common.c(534): mpm child 5760 (gen 2/slot 11) exited [Sun Nov 22 15:24:03.570674 2015] [core:warn] [pid 4
