Check the spelling.... cortsener 23 May 2008 20:29 I have a MBWE hooked up to its own static IP and all the files are accessible from 12 different computers, however 2 computers are having issues connecting. I normally connect by typing the IP address of the MBWE into my file explorer and the file tree shows up. On the two computers having problems, I try the same method and after prob 10-20 seconds, I get the error message, "Windows cannot connect to '\\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx'. Check the spelling and try again, or try searching for the item by clicking the Start button and then clicking Search." I had a similar problem at first with a couple computers and found the workgroups did not match, but I know all computers are now on the same workgroup. What else can I check??
