When he logs into his account, he gets an error saying:"Windows Cannot Load the locally stored profile. Prossible causes of this error include insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator. After that, it loads a temporary profile for the user. We've restarted the server and recreated his user profile within Documents and settings and that fixed the problem for a couple weeks but now it's started happening again. We're running Windows server 2k3 sp2 with presentation server 4.5. When they first login it loads a temp profile they logoff and logon or reboot the the normal profile loads. If I reboot the citrix server https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/126370-citrix-temp-profile-loading it doesn't do it for about a day. I have deleted the user's account and recreated. https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/437315-citrix-xenapp-issue-with-profiles Switched users account to local from roaming. Updated windows. What version of citrix windows cannot are you using? 4.5? 5?or something else? What sort of client are you using? Thin/Thick and what version? Are they at a remote site with a slow connection? Is it the same people all the time? If so what permissions have you given them in AD for their roaming profile? 0 Jalapeno OP Audun Jan 28, 2011 at 12:41 UTC There's also a setting in Group Policy somewhere where you can prohibit the use of temporary profiles. Try playing around with that, and also settings affecting slow windows cannot load network detection and profile loading timeout. 0 Serrano OP Leif7217 Jan 31, 2011 at 3:37 UTC Scottycat wrote: A few questions to clarify:- Are you running a farm or a single citrix server? On windows xp computer with xen app hosted version 11. I think that is the thick client. It is not the same people all the time. The have everything but full control privileges on the their profiles. I switched them from roaming to local. That seemed to make the problem go away for a while. 0 Serrano OP Leif7217 Feb 2, 2011 at 3:41 UTC Any other IDEAS!!! 0 Jalapeno OP Audun Feb 3, 2011 at 5:04 UTC I don't think I'm able to help you directly, but I can provide what I know about profile loading problems. I've seen them from time to time, and I know of three reasons that this can happen: 1. Network problems - I'm sure you've already ruled this out. 2. Security settings - I've found out that it's best to have the user as OWNER of the profile, and never ever do changes to the security settings manually. This

We are currently running into a situation with roaming profiles in our environment. About a month ago, users started getting temp profiles when they logged in from time to time on C1. This is after the server had been up and operational, without issue for about 10 months. Nothing changed prior to the issues. The other part of this issue is that it is not the first users logging in. It seems to happen after x number of users log in and that can be anywhere from 10 - 20 users then users beyond that number end up getting a temp profile. After a handful of temp profiles are created, the AppCenter will no longer be able to view sessions in the sessions tab. It will just sit and search. When this happens we then start to get reports users cannot log in at all. The server will slowly become less and less responsive till we have to reboot it. Most of the time this reboot is actually powering it off in vsphere and powering it back on. A restart in on the server as a domain admin only ends with the blue screen and the words logging off stuck. This is not happening at all on C2. It is clipping along fine. When the issue first came up Citrix support was unable to resolve in the few days they worked with it and told us we should go back to a backup or rebuild. We chose t
