BTW, Symantec Endpoint found the trojan which apparently put a file called "lsass.exe" in the dir " C:\documents and settuings\administrator\application data\** " and an associated registry entry to run the executable. I deleted the file/registry entry via Autoruns and that solved the problem. Apparantly Endpoint had deleted everything else that the trojan did but this le

Now they are all present, but I have http://scn.sap.com/thread/3161090 two problems.[1.] Appleworks will Save to the Home>Document Folder, but no Appleworks files will open from that folder. (Preview and Text Edit files do open.) This message appears: "The operation could not be completed. An unexpected error ocurred. (error code 10660)"If I open Appleworks the same files will open there. Some of them beep on opening. I need the files windows cannot to also open from the Document Folder!I have Trashed the Appleworks preferences and plist.[2.] Appleworks now leaves the desktop when I open any other window instead of staying on the desktop. For example, I want to have both Appleworks and iPhoto open so that I can refer to the pictures I am writing about. I think you have found the source of the problem. Change All is grey in all of the Get Info windows. Read & Write is grey in some of them. Any thoughts on how to work around that problem? I have tried making a new copy, both from Appleworks and from an e-mail but neither works. If Appleworks is open, all of the files will open from the Document window. They also all open from Recent Items in Appleworks.Joan Helpful (0) Reply options Link to this post
