Solved ActiveSync stops working with errorcode 85020006 Posted on 2007-10-16 Windows OS Exchange 1 Verified Solution 3 Comments 7,411 Views Last Modified: 2013-12-05 Out of nowhere, 2 of our phones stopped sync'ing with our Exchange 2003 server while docked to their desktop machines. ActiveSync reports a 85020006 error, which is "unable to connect to server". The phones sync fine over GPRS, and we have several other phones that sync with no problems at all. I've tried setting the "Connects me to" to "Internet" instead of "Autodetect" in Activesync as people on various sites have suggested, but to no avail. Any good ideas out there? 0 Question by:DLG_DLG Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 104 Best Solution bySembee There is a very long thread on one of Microsoft's forums on this error, have you been through that? http://forums.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/showpost.aspx?postid=2003104&siteid=65&sb=0&d=1&at=7&ft=11&tf=0&pageid=0 Go to Solution 3 Comments LVL 104 Overall: Level 104 Exchange 99 Windows OS 13 Message Accepted Solution by:Sembee2007-10-16 There is a very long thread on one of Microsoft's forums on this error, have you been through that? http://forums.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/showpost.aspx?postid=2003104&siteid=65&sb=0&d=1&at=7&ft=11&tf=0&pageid=0 Simon. -- If your question has been answered, please remember to accept the answer and close the question. 0 LVL 63 Overall: Level 63 Windows OS 19 Exchange 11 Message Expert Comment by:SysExpert2007-10-16 Also, I would test this on a different machine, or at least using a new User profile in Windows with Local Admin rights.
