I can't export then import the Outlook Express address book from one computer to another. Both computers have XP Home. The proceedure I followed: 1. Went to Outlook express and selected File/Export/Address Book. The only file shown is, Text File(Comma Separated Values). This permits the address book to be exported as a .csv file. When I try to import the address book into the second computer, the computer asks for a file with a .wab extension http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/22472-45-export-address-book and doesnt recognize the .csv file. An error has occurred" I have uninstalled OE6 then address book oe5, I have removed the Address book from add/remove pgms and re add them all in again etc etc, but the problem remains. I can execute the *.wab file and see and export the addresses no problem at all, I have uninstalled outlook express error OE in accordance with directions from the MS Knowledge base and removing registry entries. Short from formating and starting again (which I want to avoid) this problem has me stumped. Any one with anything suggestions welcomed.
