An Unexpected Network Error Occurred Windows 7
ISA Server Question 0 Sign in to vote Hi, I've created a an unexpected network error occurred mapped drive rule that allows FTP traffic from internal to external for everyone under firewall policy. Now FTP access works an unexpected network error occurred windows 8 in IE but I'm trying to access this through one of the FTP client software called Core FTP (free). I've specified proxy details but still am not getting through ISA. Looking at monitoring in ISA, I get 59 An unexpected network error occurred. Source is from client and destination is ISA. So I'm not even getting through ISA. Also user is anonymous. Looks like user is not being authenticated either? Please advise. Quote Postby AustinBob » Tue Apr 18, 2006 7:48 pm I'm backing up SQL backup files from one server https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/forefront/en-US/a48f62eb-19a9-411b-bd86-20c2ebf27dee/ftp-denied-access-and-isa-2006?forum=Forefrontedgegeneral to another but I'm getting the error: Failed to copy source: Cannot read file: An unexpected network error occurred. (\\Server\e$\ProdBkup\BAK\Production_db_200604150400.BAK) The files in the BAK folder usually run 10-15GB and there are 3 stored there at any given time. The backup is going from an NT 4.0 domain into a Win2003 AD share. I'm using accounts with admin rights on both sides http://www.2brightsparks.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=2568 of the process. The backup used to work but suddenly stopped. There are no errors in the OS Event logs. Any suggestions? Ideas? It's possible you're getting the error because the file is locked (being used). It takes a bit to put the 13GB file in place so it should be released well before the 6pm process that is generating the error. In fact, according to the SQL Logs, the 4am backup is done by 4:30am. Is there any other thing that could account for this false error? Top mickyj 2BrightSparks Staff Posts: 8417 Joined: Mon Jan 05, 2004 6:51 pm Quote Postby

Solved ISA Server 2006 preventing Citrix Applications to run Posted on 2009-04-16 MS Forefront-ISA Citrix 1 Verified Solution 4 Comments 1,240 Views Last Modified: 2012-05-06 We are having problems launching a Citrix application which has been provided an unexpected to us by an external company. We have a .ica which makes a direct connection to a server. However, the ISA server which acts as our Web Proxy is failing to forward the traffic and we are receiving Failed Connection Attempt - Status Code 59 - an unexpected network error occurred. The logs are only reporting HTTP traffic. However, I have tried opening ports 1484 and 2598 on the ISA Firewall and we an unexpected network already have a rule in place to allow HTTP and HTTPS traffic. This connects fine using an ADSL connection away from the ISA server. Has anyone else come across similar problems or even better a solution which will allow us to get the traffic through the ISA Firewall? 0 Question by:MarkBourn Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google Best Solution byMarkBourn We already had SP1 installed and I have now installed the supportability pack. I have tried running the ica file again but still having that same problem. I have attached the logs from the ISA server. Have you seen this: http://support.citrix.com/article/ctx482629 SG 0 Message Author Comment by:MarkBourn2009-04-16 Oops, I meant TCP 1494, that'll be my fat fingers no longer working correctly. That article, looks like it relates to an older version of ISA server (I have come across similar articles while browsing the web). Also, the citrix server doesn't belong to us, so I cannot publish it. 0 LVL 51 Overall: Level 51 MS Forefront-ISA 40 Citrix 1 Message Expert Comment by:Keith Alabaster2009-04-16 open the isa gui - selec
