Sap Business Objects Tutorial For Beginners
Posted: Thu Mar 27, 2008 1:47 amPost subject: Hyperlink Issues in XLS Hi, our reports have a hyperlink in them - which use opendocument to link to other reports. If I set export business objects universe to excel cell property to read contents as html- it looks fine on the screen- but when I export it to excel/pdf there entire text of the html gets printed out instead of the html view. If I set cell property to read contents as hyperlink- it looks fine on the screen and in xls and pdf - BUT when we export it to xls- business objects 4.1 user guide as soon as you open the file- a popup of "File error:data maybe lost" comes up. No data is actually lost- but this popup is very confusing for our users. The excel error is coming because of the hyperlink- remove it and no errors. Has anyone come across this issue while exporting to excel ? Do you have a workaround- this is silly- but is there a way to display it as hyperlink on the screen but as plain text in excel and pdf?
