Please explain me with scenario Parimala Lakshmanan Jan 7, 2013 1:58 PM (in response to shiva kumar) Currently Being Moderated Hi Siva,For Instance, dma0007 business objects error if you have a column called 'Salary' with full of numerical values, and one row is containing null value and then you are trying to find the 'Total Salary', then you may get computation error. Eno Salary101 6000102 8000103 Null104 15000You can resolve this by making the null cell as numerical value 0(Zero). For this, you can right a alerter saying that, If salary is null then 0 else salary. Now all the values from Salary column is numerical. If you find the total for Salary column now, it will give the result as 29000.Let me know if you still finding problem understating this.Thanks,Parimala. through a merge dimension.#Incompatible and #Context: Occurs if you try to fwm 01003 business objects error include objects from 2 Queries/contexts which does not have any relationship or tables which are not linked computation error in webi then #Context appears in case of measures and #Incompatible appears in case of dimensions because it has a non-existent calculation context.#Incompatible in case of single data provider: may https://scn.sap.com/thread/3285575 be having multiple sql queries in one data provider that is if you include objects from different contexts. How do you resolve #Incompatible? By creating a detailed variable for the incompatible dimension and associating it with the merged dimension, and using this variable in the report.#Computation: Occurs when a slicing dimension specified in the Relative Value http://bobjanalytics.weebly.com/blog/-errors () function is no longer available in the calculation context. I.e. object might be deleted or renamed. #Div/0: Occurs when a formula tried to divide a number by zero.#Multivalue: Occurs when you place a formula that returns more than one value in a cell that outputs. Or if a single cell is trying to display multiple values. Or occurs when you don’t set sql aggregate functions for a measure object in universe designer.Ex: [Revenue] ForEach ([Country]) returns #Multivalue because country might have multiple countries like India; US.one cell cannot display revenue for 2 countries. If report is broken into section on country the formula is correct.#Overflow: Occurs when a calculation returns a value that is too large for Web I to handle.#Partial Result: Occurs when we set Query controls in universe designer.#ToRefresh: Occurs if the measure object has projected function “Database delegated”.#Syntax: Occurs when a formula references an object that no longer exists in the report. 2 Comments En uygun banka kredisi bulma link 06/01/2015 22:1
included in the output context. Solution for #COMPUTATION in a cumulative aggregationTo avoid #COMPUTATION in a cumulative aggregation, the reset context mustbe included in the output context. In other words, the dimension or http://sap-botopics.blogspot.com/2009/10/bo-error-messages.html dimensionsafter the semi-colon (;) in the formula must also be listed after the operator (In,ForEach or ForAll) on the right of the formula.#COMPUTATION in non-aggregate formulasIn non-aggregate formulas, #COMPUTATION occurs http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1216290 because the output contextis not included in the input contextSolution for #COMPUTATION in a non-aggregate formulaYou must:1. Edit the formula so that the output context is included in the input business objects context, asdescribed in the example above.2. Add Max or Min to the beginning of the formula, followed by an openingparenthesis.3. Add a closing parenthesis at the end of the formula, then press Enter.#MULTIVALUE#MULTIVALUE in aggregations#MULTIVALUE occurs in aggregations becauseThe output context is not included in the local context.#MULTIVALUE in break headers and footers#MULTIVALUE in a cell at the section levelA report business objects error section displays data in a master cell and in a block or blocks. If you usetwo variables at the section level, #MULTIVALUE can occur. In one of them I brought in a character dimension(Years: 2000,2001 etc were the values). I had to do a Sum(ToNumber(Year)), where Year was a character object. This used to work previously but suddenly it started giving me #Computation error yesterday. So I had to work around the problem by creating a variable for ToNumber(Year) and then doing a Sum(Variable).Eventhough the problem is fixed, i am wondering why it the formula had suddenly given me errors.. If anyone had a similar error and know why this happens please reply. I would be very glad to know. Thanks,Anu RE: #Compu
