I haven't been able to find out the source of problem, but I have noticed that installing Crystal Reports 2008 after other BO products can have unexpected results. Let me know if you have found the source of the problem, and I will do the same. Can you log in via an HTTP connection? i.e accessing the Rich Client through an Infoview session? Can you access on another machine? Maybe, you have corrupt *LSI files on your local system, try deleting these and try logging on again. Have you ever managed to log in successfully? Crystal can play havoc with BO connectivity, is that, or has that, been on your machine? Can you log into Designer? Have you tried uninstalling, re-booting, then installing Rich Client, again?_________________Business Objects Versions 4,5,6, XI R2, 3.2, 4.1
