I have dcom 10009 unable to communicate with the computer gone through all of the Microsoft forums and made the changes that everyone has suggested but nothing has resolved the issue. In my SBS console under network I see computers listed as not available in the security status row. I have also made a direct correlation with the
Dcom Was Unable To Communicate With The Computer Using Any Of The Configured Protocols.
DCOM 10009 event id on the server which are the computers that show this row’s status as not available. This is what I have found after looking at the Windows XP workstations that are and are not having issues communicating. I ran these commands on both: netstat –ano > netstat.txt tasklist > tasklist.txt notepad tasklist.txt notepad netstat.txt The computers that are responding as OK and not showing up on the server’s event log with the DCOM 10009 error shows that it is listening on port 135.
