Launch computer services from adminstrator tools. Right click and go to properties of My Computer. Go to COM Security tab under launch and activation click Edit Default. Click add and for object name use Local Service and click OK. Now select allow http://www.velocityreviews.com/threads/dcom-event-id-10026.492464/ for all and OK. Now you should be good to go no DCOM event error. Hope this helped. -- Steve (x64man) "Carlos" wrote: > Does anybody know how to solve the DCOM event id 10026 problem in event > viewer (system)? > It is delaying boot for almost two minutes in my machine. > Couldn't find anything in MS KB. > Carlos =?Utf-8?B?U3RldmU=?=, Jul 23, 2006 #3 =?Utf-8?B?Q2FybG9z?= Guest Steve: The COM+ entry went away with your "medicine". The DCOM one (event viewer, system), event id 10026 is still there. Any further ideas?
