Windows 7 Networking Question 0 Sign in to vote Ok...my event Viewer event id 10016 windows 10 is full with always the samethree DCOM 10016 errors... one of the repeating ones (they're all the same 10016 error): dcom server The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {B77C4C36-0154-4C52-AB49-FAA03837E47F} and APPID {EA022610-0748-4C24-B229-6C507EBDFDBB} to the user ROCK-PC\Frank SID (S-1-5-21-143145692-2144793088-312009153-1000) from address LocalHost (Using http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-performance/windows-vista-event-id-10016-the-application/b2a492a4-b782-e011-9b4b-68b599b31bf5 LRPC). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool. I granted activation permission to all of them but still get these errors. The first two applications are from fdPHost and the third one here is from homegroupProvider if this is any help. What could cause these errors? My computer seems to work OK but I still would like to get rid of these errors.
