Login Failed Due To A Configuration Error Please Ask Your System Administrator
2008-06-04 I am perplexed at this error message when someone tries to send a email to our Exchange server. 1/4 of their employee's can send email and the other 3 get this bounce back. ORDB has not been around since 2006. DNS and RDNS is setup correctly on the receiving side and the wspharr domain is the only domain that is having a problem. I am running Groupshield 6.0.1 with a Sonicwall firewall. I can login failed due to a configuration error with your phone and jtapi or unified telnet through to the Exchange server through port 25. If someone has seen this, please let me know. The message cannot be delivered due to a configuration error on the server. Please contact your Administrator.

Without more information about how you send outbound mail, it's impossible to know where the problem might be. Do you send outbound mail directly to recipients via DNS? Perhaps you need to change your NIC settings to poll DNS information from a new address. Do you send outbound mail via a smarthost? Perhaps that address has changed. The fact that you can receive mail indicates your MX record is fine. What does the undeliverable message say? _____________________________Regards, Dean T. How long has it been running? When did the problem show up? so you have exchange then another smtp server? You do not have permission to send to this recipient. Again just a guess though... 0 Serrano OP Thomas Hoopes Feb 10, 2010 at 6:36 UTC Could be sending to an email that is blacklisted by that SMTP server. I agree with B-C it sounds like it's a response FROM the SMTP server itself. Is it a hosted SMTP or on-site? 0 Sonora OP ouronlyhope Feb 10, 2010 at 6:47 UTC Exchange Server i
