Veröffentlicht am 07.12.2013this occured when trying to swap my 1 terabyte to a 128gb SSD onto my hp envy m4 1115dxi. resolved this issue by first using the original hard drive, going into start menu (esc), choosing bios menu, and under boot option, enable "legacy support" and on bottom, use the f6 to move up internal cd/dvd rom as the 1st on list. put in your SSD, with windows 7/8 CD, and now it will boot off of the cd rom!here is link to manual of how to get to the hard drive and open it:http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/... You most likely damaged the partition the OS was on by playing with the mini partition program. Also, you cannot download a legitimate copy of Windows 7 from just any old site, it's anybody's guess as to what it really was or what it did to your computer. If all you needed was a driver, all you should have done is go to the manufacture's website and get the driver from them.At this point, I would locate your recovery CD's and start with a fresh install. If the recovery software is on a hidden partition on your hard drive, hopefully you didn't damage it with mini partitions. Follow the instruction manual that came with your computer on how to restore your computer. If it is an HP, they come with recovery discs. You may have also done internal damage when you sat on your computer. It might be best to take it to a repair shop and have them inspect for internal damage. It might be best to have them install the operating system as well.m
