the sudden my computer isn't booting. It was working just fine last night and nothing looked weird primary hard disk error press f1 to resume when it was shutting down. By the way, both my optical drives are "blind" (they still open and close but can't read anything). So anyhow, I re-started the computer and must have pressed F8 because a screen popped up and I was asked to choose a boot device. I guess both my primary and slave storage devices

Motherbd uses 40 ish cpu uses alot more depending on what you have 15w to 150w The fact that you can boot up to see the POST message seems to indicate its not a power issue. Now when hard disk booting my Window 7 pc I get the message of "Primary Master Hard Disk Error" that is followed with Press F1 to resume. After I do this the pc will boot. I've ruled out a physical hard drive error and now I'm at a dead end. Could this be something in the BIOS settings? Is there something missing within the Windows boot record - although I don't think master hard disk this is the problem since the machine ultimately does boot.I'm open to any/all suggestions to keep from pulling my hair out trying to figure this out.
