If the drive has failed there is little that can be done. If the drive fails the tests but the drive was accessed that would indicate the cable and controller are functional.If the issue is simply some sort of corruption then it might be possible to recover files. Report • #3 oh my June 15, 2010 at 19:09:15 i can't find any solution in WDC website......i don't want data recovery.......my 2nd hard disk have nothing problem and still detected by windows......but i can't find the local disk d(2nd HD) it not show the real size(GB)......my 2nd hd juz 40gb,but it show 80gb on bios setup.............and it made a song like mouse clicking when i open my PC.........it sound best!
