Quote #1 Sat Feb 15, 2014 3:02 pm Those familiar with Haswell overclocking should be familiar with the title, it's a common event log error that indicates the processor detected and corrected an error that otherwise would've led to a BSoD. I saw this frequently during my trials and tribulations when OCing my 4770K... but now I have a real puzzler. I'm getting this error on a Core i7 4771 processor. Hence there is zero OCing going on.A corrected hardware error has occurred.Reported by component: Processor CoreError Source: Corrected Machine CheckError Type: Internal parity errorProcessor ID: 4The details view of this entry contains further information. Is anyone an expert with this errors that knows what's going on? IT Pro > Windows 7 Hardware Compatibility Question 0 Sign in to vote I have machine check exception decoder a brand new dell insparon 570 (AMD Athlon II X2 245 2GB), and I have had 11 thousand of these error in the two months of https://techreport.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=92752 owning the machine. Ihave the latest bios and drivers installed. I download theDell memorychecking diagnostics program and rebooted and check with that and the CPU/cache seemed fine. Dell support ran their window base testers and 'surprise' it was happy also, thus the hardware support person was convinced it was a software https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/06d516f3-eacc-40b1-9332-980ea8a0ada3/whealogger-event-19-windows-7?forum=w7itprohardware problem. My concern is reading about this event implies it may be a CPU issue, thus if it's "dodgy" I'd rather it replaced now, but am unsure how to prove this is the case. Or if its completly harmless, why are there so many event entries? The event can happen multiple times per minute, or have 15 minutes between them. The PC is running as a media center server and doing nothing most of the day, but the warnings come thick and fast.
