"It's not a true crash, in the sense that the bluescreen was initiated only because the combination of video driver and video hardware was being unresponsive, and not because of any synchronous processing exception. If I turn the computer on, it will load up until the "Starting Windows" screen; then after a few seconds of blackness I get the blue screen saying that a problem has been detected and Windows had to shut down. The blue screen blames nvlddmkm.sys.
