I have followed the instructions in the install guide, but dos net use cannot connect to a shared drive on this device. I have been working with Buffalo's tech support and they suggested trying to connect to the NAS via another PC. I did this successfully with an XP laptop using the Buffalo NAS Navigator Utility. This same utility does not work on Windows 2K Server. Buffalo says that there is an incompatibility issue with it, so they recommended using the "net use" command to map the NAS using UNC. I've tried this and receive a "System error 67 has occurred."I've looked all over the place on the web for an explanation of this error, and everything seems to point to some sort of DNS or NetBIOS issue. I'm not an expert at all with Windows networking, so I am not sure how to resolve this. Here is a brief overview of how I'm connected:Win2K server (192.168.0.111)|vD-link Router (192.168.0.1)^|NAS (192.168.0.126)Subnet mask for all is 255.255.255.0Any help would be appreciated! Thanks,Scott Share Flag This conversation is currently closed to new comments. 11 total posts (Page 1 of 2) 01 | 02 Next + Follow this Discussion · | Thread

This new WebDAV extension module incorporates many new features that enable web authors to publish content better than before. This document walks you through using the WebDAV redirector to publish content to an existing web site that has the new WebDAV module installed. In This Walkthrough Installing the WebDAV Redirector Mapping Drives using the WebDAV Redirector Troubleshooting the WebDAV Redirector WebDAV Redirector Registry Settings Installing the WebDAV Redirector Prerequisites You must be running one of the following operating systems: Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, or Windows Server 2012 You must be connecting to a web server that already has the WebDAV module installed. Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 8.1 If you are using a desktop operating system like Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 8.1, the WebDAV redirector is already installed. Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, or Windows Server 2012 R2 If you are using a server operating system like Windows Server 2008 or later, you need to install the Desktop Experience feature. To do so, use the following steps: Start the Windows Server Manager. In the tree view, highlight the Features node. In the details pane, click Add Features. In the Add Features Wizard, check the Desktop Experience box, and then click Next. Click Install. When the Add Features Wizard has finished, click Close.
