I can map a network drive to a Sharepoint site either using the Windows Explorer Map Netwrok net use system error 67 drive utility or using the command line. Either way works fine. However, If I take the command I put in the command line and put it in a dos batch file, the command fails with System Error 67. The command I am using is: Net use

I have tried using the IP address instead but the same error comes up. This shared drive is located at the company I work for and I can do this via VPN. however I was trying to built a batch script to do this automatically and not have to deal with mapping everytime. So I tried to use net use k:\\155.XXx.167.160\mydriveName but the I get http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15119022/mapping-network-drive-using-command-line an error that says System error 67 has occurred the network name cannot be found. any ideas how I can resolve this? like I said I can manually map the drive by right clicking my computer but I cant seem to be able to use the command line. If it does, then your problem is that you are sharing a 'private' folder. There are/were some issues where users were not able to share their My Documents or Home folder, but they could share a subfolder from there, or the parent folder.
