troubleshot the device itself and everything is fine. The problem is with Windows 7 Ultimate not being able to find that or any other network share. By that, net use command system error 67 I mean that the network map shows the devices, but when you try to connect with a UNC link, it can't do it. C:\Users\Username>net use Z: "\\goflex_home\GoFlex Home Public" password /user:username System error 67 has occurred. The network name cannot be found. C:\Users\Username>net view \\goflex_home System error 53 has occurred. The network path was not found. net use system error 53 Everyone I've talked to at the vendor support site (Seagate) agrees that this is a Windows networking problem, not a device problem. Can you help me figure out what settings or services need to be tweaked to enable drive mapping via UNC through net use? I started it and now can map the drives. Thanks for the help, though. Quantensprung Beginner Posts 6 1 [SOLVED] Cannot connect to SMB shares [OMV 0.5] Nov 17th 2013, 4:50pm Hello there, Hardware: HP ProLiant N54L OMV Version: 0.5.21 Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 I've problem to connect to net use my SMB shares ... after creating a shared folder and share it through SMB/CIFS I can see the share on the Windows (win7, win8 and android) network overview, but when trying to access the folder I always get the error message: Source Code error code: 0x80070035 network path cannot be found or (if trying via DOS and "net use") Source Code net use x:\ \\HPSERVER\share1 /USER:user1 #or net net use system use x:\ \\HPSERVER\IPC$\share1 /USER:user1 System error 67 has occured. The network name cannot be found. Any idea? I've redo the OMV installation and only do the config for SMB and user (to be sure that there is no sideeffect from plugins)- still the same error...
