use command. When I run the command as follows...... net use * \\computer_name\share_name /u:domain_name\user_name /savecred I get a conflicting switches net use savecred persistent conflicting error. I would like to pass the domain and user name but have it prompt for a password. This syntax is taken directly from microsoft support...can someone please clarify what I am doing net use options wrong. Really appreciate any insights. Net Use Delete Mapped Drive
with credentials to the local machine. Remember that those credetials are primarily for use with a workgroup. They don't work in a domain.
