F004, F114 - Smartcard is not authorised This message will generally appear when your box needs to be activated or your account has been suspended. If you recently installed a Foxtel box, please contact us to activate your service. If your account is overdue, you can pay online by logging into My Account or through our secure payment gateway. To log in to My Account, you just need your Foxtel ID details. Your Foxtel ID is your username (usually your email address)

Remove it. Wipe the gold chip on the back of the Smartcard with a soft cloth. Re-insert the Smartcard. Follow the instructions on the top of the card to ensure it's in correctly. If the box still won't read the card, go to Step 2. Step 2: Reset your Foxtel box with your card out ∨ ∧ If you’re in the middle of recording a show, you’ll lose it, but the reset won’t delete anything from your MyStar Planner: Reset your Foxtel box by switching the power off at the socket, then pull the power cord out from the back of the box. Leave the power disconnected for at least 30 seconds. Plug the Foxtel power cord back in and switch the power on. Your Foxtel box should turn on and light up. The reboot process takes about six minutes and most of our boxes will automatically turn themselves back on. If your box is still showing the red standby light, try turning it on by pressing the Standby button at the top of your remote. Re-insert the Smartcard.
