A message popped up "insert smartcard". https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100727112018AAQ4p9o This is the first time I have seen this message on our Explora. A reboot sorted it out, but what are the possible reasons for this? __________________ 80 cm dish <-> Smart LNB <-> DSTV EXPLORA. No Xtraview, no other smart card decoder. Seems to not be a serious issue, just an annoyance. I don't think that the actual error code (E04-4) came up, but maybe I missed it. __________________ 80 cm dish <-> Smart LNB <-> DSTV EXPLORA. Depending on the receiver it could be behind a flap or at the back. Look for a card the size of a credit card and remove it Give the gold contacts on the card a wipe or better still breathe on it and dry off the condensation then insert it till the message goes away Source(s): Onion Johnny · 6 years ago 1 Thumbs up 0 Thumbs down Comment Add a
