(https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/316451) What do you use? The article didn't offer much. Anyway cool, there's a proper reason for my error. But what DO you use to connect to the same server, under classic asp, to capture the output of pages? This article (https://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/WindowsServer2003/Library/IIS/aa23d158-000a-4ba2-8fe8-99895854d7f0.mspx?mfr=true) mentions if I'm doing isolation mode, then the process runs seperate to the web server process and there I can't use SSI, I can't figure out how to enable it in the first place anyway. It sounds nasty anyway. SSI is critical in my app, so I can't consider it. What am I left with (besides the obvious: ditch ASP)? spawn a wscript.shell command prompt and pull it from there, echoing back to stdout? bounce off another reflector server? I automated this by doing a HTTP GET to the URL from within a vbs file (using vbscripting). The vbs file in question is executed by a call from within a .BAT file which in turn is called from a SQL 2005 SSIS package. the system cannot On the development server this all runs 100% fine without any issues and we migrated the code today to the production server. The problem is that we now get an error "msxml3.dll Unable to locate object" on the "set xml = CreateObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP")" call. I double checked that the xml parser is installed and registered on the server, which it is. I then looked up the error and some articles suggested using CreateObject("MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP.3.0") instead. I did this and instead with this call I get "msxml3.dll: URL is using unrecognized protocol". Have not had much luck beyong this error in getting it to work. I have even tried reinstalling the parser to no avail. I have determined that the production server is NOT behind a proxy if this is relevant. The remote server is a FTP drive and the URL is in the form of ftp://ftp.x.y/datafeed2.xml . Any pointers as to what could be causing this or a way to resolve it would be of great help. The code excerpt from the VBS file is as follows: ........ some code ............. '// '// Target URL of the remote
