with Exchange (SBS 2003) from desktop and internet. Desktop sync stopped working but internet sync with 0x80072efd activesync Exchange still worked. Performed a hard reset and got desktop sync back but will not sync with exchange, error code 80072EFD. I have installed activesync 500 error the certificate on the windows mobile device, confirmed all the device and active sync settings. No Anti-Virus or firewall on desktop. It appears to connect to the server. I can see the network connections opened by Wcesmgr.exe between the http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/mobiledevices/forum/mdupdate/activesync-error-code-80072efd/2dc84b5a-99ac-411f-a2f4-39cc00992998 PPC and desktop pc and also between the desktop pc and the SBS2k3 server. It connects, says it's syncing folders, and then moves on without syncing and produces the above error. It does the same thing when syncing via internet. Nothing has changes on the server. During troubleshooting I reissued the certificate but that did not resolve the issue. a PC. The PDA appears to be communicating properly with the PC, and you can copy files back and forth from the PDA to the PC. However, the exchange sync results in the error 80072EFD. I would think it was something to do with the PDA or the Exchange server, but the PDA can be successfully synchronized using another PC. So, I would assume it's something to do with the PC settings. The PC was running Win XP Media Center Edition, but was recently rebuilt with XP Pro SP2. But, that didn't fix anything. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you in advance!
