Dec 04, 2015 07:23 PM|Anil12345678|LINK I have a piece of c# code that downloads a zip file from an external web server using WebclientDownloadFile() method. It works perfectly fine in my local system where I have .NET Framework 4.6 (VS2015 Pro), Windows 7 Enterprise OS, 64 bit OS. I received an error "The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected http://forums.asp.net/t/2079336.aspx?+The+underlying+connection+was+closed+An+unexpected+error+occurred+on+a+send+issue+on+windows+server+2008+SP2+32+bit+OS error occurred on a send." when I run the same piece of code on the server where Windows Server 2008 SP2, 32 bit OS, .NET Framework 4.6.1 is installed. In my local system, the application is pointing to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Reference Assemblies\Microsoft\Framework.NETFramework\v4.6.1" for the DLL's and in the server I did not find this path after i installed .NET 4.6 rather i saw from the registry the installed path is "C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319". I modified my c# console app to point to the appropriate .Net Framework path and compiled it and still same issue on the server. I even compiled the console app targeting x86 but still same issue is thrown on the server. Any suggestion in resolving the issue? Hope you can understand the hierarchy (complexity) of the return object. This works up to 2nd level of object hierarchy. Does anyone have idea about the solution for this exception? Thanks in Advance Shazvi

There may be useful information that you're ignoring by not looking at the entire exception. In particular, it's difficult to see how object complexity could cause a networking error. This suggests that this is not a networking error, despite the exception message you posted. I suspect that the remainder of t
