Now whenever I lock my machine and then try to unlock it by entering my credentials I get one of the following error message: "Unlocking the workstation with NMAS requires using the same sequence as specified during login." or "An unexpected error occurred while attempting to unlock the workstation. Try to unlock the workstation again or select a different credential type for unlck. Error 1479 (0xFFFFFA27)." These errors only occur when the "From" field reads "eDirectory". If I change it to "Windows" I am able to unlock the machine without issue. I tried uninstalling the client, rebooting, and then reinstalling. I've also tried installing the Post-SP2 Patch but neither action has resolved the problem. Any thoughts appreciated... Most values also have a default message defined, which can be used to map the value to a human-readable text message; when this is done, the Win32 error code is also known as a message identifier. The following table specifies the values and corresponding meanings of the Win32 error codes. Vendors SHOULD NOT assign other meanings to these values, to avoid the risk of a collision in the future. This document provides the common usage details of the Win32 error codes; individual protocol specifications provide expanded or modified definitions.
