The report is located on my hard drive. I am able to open other reports. The error box has (FRM0008) at the end of the message. Does someone information on what is up or any suggestions? I have full NT rights to the file. Seems as if something is up in BO. Thanks, Randy _________________AOL Listserv Archive Post This message was originally posted on the BUSOB-L AOL Listserv. But is there any possibility of this report getting deleted from the Repository. Check whether it is in the repository or not. If it is there check whether some one decline the access for this report ?? Else, login as GS and reexport the report. Hope this helps..... (DX0035) Universe Documentor Using explicitly denied rights to globally remove privileges for non-administrators sessions and licenses are not released business objects after the session timeout is reached Desktop Intelligence Permission Problem Platform:Desktop IntelligenceBusinessObjects XI, XI Release 2Acommon problem is when you delete a report from the repository and thenrealises that it was a mistake removing it. Even though you have alocal copy of the report you can't open it. This is because BOE isvalidating the rights against the repository and when the report doesnot exist there it business objects frm0008 can't be opened. If you try to open that report in Desktop Intelligence you will get an error stating: You are not authorized to use this document. (FRM00008).Thereare a number of possible workarounds for this problem, one being thatyou create a dummy report in the repository with the same name as thereport you just deleted. Then you find out the path and file namethrough Central Management Console. Browse to the report folder inInput File Repositry Server and delete the file (remember the filename). Add the original report to the same place and change it's nameto the same as the deleted file. Now you are able to import it intoDesktop Intelligence. This solution doesn't work in allsituations and it's not a supported method. Manually deleting filesfrom FRS is NOT a good idea in most cases. With this particual problemthere exist a different solution that will solve this.Open Desktop Intelligence - check the Use in Offline Mode checkbox when logging in.Open the report.Save your report - check the Save for all users checkbox.Close Desktop Intelligence.Open Desktop Intelligence - login to your repository, not in offline mode.It should now be possible to open the report and publish it
