If you are you can do this: Right click on registry editor and run it as a different user. This can be done by pressing shift as you right click the icon of the registry editor. Remote Registry Service is not running. Go to services, and start it manually. 2. As others have said, you don't have permissions on the remote computer to do this. Being a Domain Administrator would allow you to do this because the local Administrators group has Domain Administrator in it by default.
