I presume that you are using 2009 or later and that you have an active payroll subscription.Usually this error message is a conflict error with some other software (you might want to go into add/remove programs and get rid of any you don't need) so you need to follow these steps in get into Safe Mode 1. type MSConfig in the Start Menu (lower left windows icon) 2. goto Boot Tab 3. Under the Boot options select Safe Boot and then Network. 4. Click ok and select restart (print these directions before restarting) 5. This will restart your computer in Safe Mode.
